Frequently Asked Questions

What is Hope Lives Here©?

Hope Lives Here© is a project dedicated to sharing stories of resilience, survival, and hope. Through letters written by real people who have faced difficult life experiences, the project aims to inspire, connect, and remind readers that they are not alone, and that even on the darkest days, life is worth sticking around for. This project will include a book, a bi-weekly newsletter, a podcast, and an immersive exhibit.

It is currently in the submission phase.

Who can submit a letter?

Anyone who has experienced a challenging or life-changing event (no matter how big or small it might seem to others!) and wants to share their journey of recovery and hope can submit a letter. You don’t need to be a professional writer - authenticity and honesty are what matter most.

Can I submit anonymously?

Yes. You can submit your letter with or without your name - whichever makes you feel most comfortable.

How will my letter be used?

Letters may be featured in the book, newsletter, podcast, or exhibit. All submissions are handled with care, and contributors’ privacy will always be respected.

You will be contacted if your letter is selected, and may be invited to participate on the podcast.

Who is behind this project?

The project was founded by Megan Bradley, a psychology graduate passionate about mental health positivity and human resilience. Megan’s goal is to transform individual stories into a collective source of inspiration, connection, and courage.

How often will letters be shared?

This is a year-long project, starting in November 2025. Once an initial batch of submissions have been collected and reviewed, subscribers will begin to receive a new letter every two weeks leading up to the book launch.
